The Company’s tractors are designed entirely around the patented electronic drive system. We took a bottom-up approach to designing an all-electric tractor. There are no compromises like those that face conventional tractor manufacturers. Simply replacing the internal combustion engine and fuel tank with electric motors and batteries is not progressive, just convenient.
Our ‘electric by design’ philosophy challenged our brilliant engineers to put advanced technology to work for you. The result is a high torque, high traction tractor that outperforms gas powered units in pulling, pushing, towing, mowing and throwing. The OX2 uses standard, affordable and recyclable lead acid batteries to supply the electrical energy and weight for stability and traction. For those who require extra-long run time, lithium battery options are in development.
Steering, turning radius and braking control are designed for driver ease and safety. Our drive system uses two independent motors with an electronic differential that permits individual monitoring and speed control during both acceleration and braking. Regenerative braking recharges the batteries dynamically. The motors provide exceptional operating range and power using a rare earth permanent magnet design. Electric to us is much more than a power system. It’s putting computing power to work for a quiet, safe, easy and reliable tractor driving and ownership experience.
